(Svenska) Traktamente som egenanställd

Per diem (traktamente) means that as a self-employed contractor, you can receive tax-free compensation for increased living expenses when staying overnight in a different location for work.

To qualify for this compensation, the overnight stay must take place at least 50 km away from your regular workplace or residence.

This compensation is called “traktamente.” See the Swedish Tax Agency’s website for the current rates.

The amount of per diem abroad varies depending on which country you are in. You can read more about foreign per diem allowances on the Swedish Tax Agency’s website.

The same rules apply to per diem as for all cost reimbursements: to receive compensation, there must be sufficient funds in your Bolagskraft account.
