How does it work with things I want to take on my earnings (except travel), such as printer and ink cartridges?
All expenses you incur in order to carry out your work must be submitted—either by sending or scanning receipts—for deduction against your income.
All documentation submitted to BolagsKraft for cost reimbursements and expenses must comply with the Swedish Tax Agency’s regulations. Receipts or invoices must clearly state where the item was purchased and include the seller’s company name and organization number. The receipt must also specify the type of goods or services purchased. VAT must be indicated both as a percentage and as an amount.
The self-employed individual is fully responsible for financing their own business, as well as for sales, marketing, and other expenses necessary for their operations. This means that inventory purchases can only be reimbursed when there are sufficient funds available in the self-employed individual’s account in BolagsKraft’s portal. BolagsKraft does not assume responsibility for the self-employed person’s expenses—these must be financed by the individual themselves.
All receipts or invoices sent to BolagsKraft’s office by email, via bolagskraft.se, or by post must meet the following requirements:
-
In cases where receipts or invoices exceed SEK 4,000 including VAT, BolagsKraft must be listed as “c/o” in accordance with the Swedish Tax Agency’s rules.
Example:
The self-employed individual’s name
c/o BolagsKraft
The individual’s address
Postal code and city -
Only materials and services that can be directly linked to the self-employed individual’s business may be purchased. This means the eligibility of purchases may vary from one individual to another.
-
The self-employed individual may only purchase inventory items costing less than SEK 20,000 excluding VAT. BolagsKraft reserves the right to deny cost reimbursements if the documentation is deemed incomplete or improperly prepared.
Please note that BolagsKraft will always make an individual assessment of each case involving cost reimbursements and expenses. All reimbursements must be reasonable in relation to income. To be eligible for reimbursements and expense claims, the self-employed individual must also take out a reasonable salary.
